Cogent Staffing are now recruiting for a logistics administrator to work with one of our fantastic clients based in Huddersfield. This role would be perfect someone with minimal experience in administration but is looking to make a career out of it.

The company are recruiting on a temp to perm basis – the first 12 weeks would be working as an agency administrator however after this point you would be offered a full time, permanent contract with the client.

This role would require you to work in assisting in the management of all site transport, this would include:

In-Bound Transport – Supplier to destination
Inter-site – Site to storage transportation
Intra-site – Site to Site
Out-bound – Site to customer
Main Responsibilities

Vehicle Run List
Load List
3rd Party Supplier Bookings
3rd Party certificate update
Delivery bookings/booking amends
Drivers paperwork
Chep pallet admin; Includes coldstore/dispatch loading paperwork checks for chep pallets
HSF Pallet/Pallet box hire
Metrix updates and measuring
Liaising with planning
Liaising with dispatch/picking crews
Further administration as the role evolves
